Producing video takes time, editing that video, takes longer – once you’ve shared it on LinkedIn, what do you do with it?

More often than not, we invest time into video content and once it’s been shared on LinkedIn, we make it redundant – it seems like a great waste doesn’t it?  A great way to repurpose your video content and actually see greater returns is to share that video post on your website.

Now, you’re probably wondering why are we telling you this because it sounds super complicated and there’s no way you’ll be able to do that yourself? Is that along the right lines? Well, you’re wrong. It’s easy, it’s quick and it’s time we all stop wasting this valuable content.

We’re going to take you step by step through how to do this👇:

  1. Find the post on LinkedIn that you would like to embed
  2. In the top right corner of the post, you will see three dots
  3. Click “embed this post”
  4. Check or uncheck “include full post” – This option is down to you. Do you want to embed the full LinkedIn post including status, comments etc. Or, do you want to embed just the video?
  5. Click “copy code”
  6. Open up your website and paste the embed code – Before doing this stage, make sure you’re in text mode

That’s it. It’s as simple as that. Follow these steps and you’re good to go!
